The experience matters.

Project Management

A great project starts with great project management. Deadlines matter.  Communication matters. Executing correctly matters.  Whether you are a systems integrator using Pendant for controls, or you are an end user of the control system, we know that you need accurate information throughout the course of your project, and you need the right product delivered before your deadline.

We will tailor our project management style to your needs. This may mean that you want a very structured, “calendarized” approach, or if you are more comfortable with us, a more milestones-based approach.

You’ll get a clear schedule of project milestones from us that will show you when we will complete the design, build, and programming phases of the project, and also an invoicing schedule so you have more visibility to your project cash flow.

Form and function matter.

Control System Design

If we could be said to have a design and programming philosophy, it is this: write the program that best suits the customer and how they want their system to operate.

We rely on our extensive experience to create a design that is as simple and practical as it needs to be to suit your purpose. You will have access to the layout drawings, and we will collaborate with you to make sure we understand what you want, and that we can create what you want in your time frame with your desired level of investment in the system.

We are versatile and can work with products from just about any OEM. Most of the systems we create rely on either Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs, but we have extensive experience with other suppliers also.

Specific Capabilities

  • SCADA
  • AutoCAD Drawings
  • Ladder Logic Diagrams
  • Product Specifications
  • Sequence of Operations
  • Product Integration
  • Safety Systems
  • PLC Programming
  • HMI Programming & Development
  • Data Acquisition

Customization matters.

Programming and HMI Customization

Our philosophy continues to inform the way we approach our project with you when we get to the programming stage. We will take whatever time you give us to dig deep and learn about your style.  And then we will create a program that fits. It’s easy to let personal bias about the way things should be done decide the path when designing the system and programming it.  We try hard to not let that happen.

This is especially important when it comes to the HMI. The ultimate measure of the quality of our design and programming effort is how much your people rely on the HMI, whether for monitoring routine operations, troubleshooting problems in your system, or collecting and analyzing useful data captured from your processes.

If you invest in an HMI, we want it to be a tool that becomes a routine part of the daily activities of your team.

Details matter.

Panel Building

The brains of the system reside in the panel. But a panel can be a work of art, too.

Our designers and panel shop team know that a great panel starts with a great design, so we go the extra mile in design to think about how the panel will look and function.

We take pride in building panels with an eye towards the future of your business, allowing you room to grow, but within the limits of your investment. Your panels will be well thought out and well organized. They will be built with concern for the people responsible for maintaining your system and the people who operate your system.

Your panel will be delivered with the appropriate level of protection, including the use of Shockwatch sensors on all our crates, to be sure it arrives on site in as good a condition as it left our shop.

Promises matter.

 Installation and Startup

The final part of the project will be our team coming on site to install your system, and then starting it up side by side with you.  It’s here where we will make final programming adjustments to give you exactly what you want. The project isn’t over until the system is operating the way we promised you at the start
